Zoltán Siflis

Film Director

He was born in Subotica in 1952. He authored 40 films about the fate of Vojvodina's Hungarians and taboo topics related to them. His works have been awarded and shown at numerous festivals in Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Germany, France…

In early 2011, he received the Hungarian state award "Béla Balázs" for outstanding merits and achievements in the field of film art. He is a member of the Hungarian Film Academy, the Association of Hungarian Film Directors and the Association of Hungarian Documentary Film Directors (MADE).

Uri Borreda

Film Writer, Director and Producer

Film Writer, Director and Producer; Borreda has been producing and directing films since 1987.  Since then he has directed and produced many documentary films, such as "Born to Fly", "Exodus - the true story", "The history of the land of Israel", and "Box for Life" (Israel 2017). His films have been shown in film festivals worldwide and won several awards. "Box for Life" won Best Feature Documentary at Ramsgate Film Festival UK 2019, and Best Documentary Feature Theme Award at Overcome Film Festival USA 2019. Borreda is a member of the Israeli Directors Guild and Israeli Academy of Film and Television. 

Shawn Rhodes

Filmmaker and Producer

Shawn Rhodes is an award winning American filmmaker and Television producer who has been working in the industry since 1989. He has directed and produced almost 500 Television episodes and was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards and six Billboard Music Video Awards including a win. His most recent film "This Is Love" premiered at the 2018 Raindance Film Festival in London and won the "Film of the Festival" and has since received an additional 16 international awards. He currently is writing, directing and producing four new films while working for ESPN, FOX and CBS Sports as a Technical director; sound engineer for Oxygen Networks' "Snapped" and is a college Professor teaching Film and Sound engineering. He has worked with Mick Fleetwood, Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Chong, Stanley Jordan and many others. He is honored to be a part of the History Film Festival in Rijeka.

Danilo Šerbedžija

Film Director

Film director, screenwriter and musician born in 1971. He graduated in philosophy and Greek language at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. From 1999 to 2002, he attended and obtained a master's degree at Ohio University, School of Film, USA in the class of Rajko Grlić. So far, he has directed three feature films, one omnibus, several documentaries and short feature films. His feature films Teresa 33, 72 Days and The Liberation of Skopje were shown and awarded at many domestic and international festivals. He is an artistic advisor in Zagreb Film and a member of the Board of Directors of Writers & Directors Worldwide and the Croatian Music Union.
