Director Biography
Els Moors (1976) is a Flemish poet and novelist and lives in Brussels. Her poetrydebut Er hangt een hoge lucht boven ons (There is a tall sky above us; 2006) was nominated for the prestigious C. Buddingh’-prize and was awarded the Herman de Coninck prize for best poetry debut.
Moors also published the novels "Het verlangen naar een eiland"("The longing for an island") "Vliegtijd" ("Flight time") and "Mijn nachten met Spinoza" ("My nights with Spinoza").
Her second collection of poetry, "liederen van een kapseizend paard" ("songs of a capsizing horse"), was published in 2013 and won the J.C. Bloem prize and has been translated in German and French. In 2018 and 2019 she was nominated as the National Poet of Belgium. Moors works as a teacher Creative Writing in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Dominique Henry studied biology before working in audiovisual. He has since worked as a cameramman on documentaries.
Dominique Henry co-authored documentaries with Vincent Detours on issues related to health and human rights.
