Favoring upholders of traditional morals over reformists, the Holy Father broke the momentum (towards freedom) in developing nations – particularly in Latin America. Preferring injustice to unrest, he also covered up scandals in an institution that claims to be exemplary. A pope whose fast-track canonization conceals numerous gray areas...

Director Biography

CHRISTIANE RATINEY has worked for more than ten years as assistant director on historical or political documentaries by Michaël Prazan, William Karel or Patrick Barberis. In 2015 she co-wrote with Michaël Prazan her first film The Division Das Reich, an SS division in France and co-directed her first film with Michaël Prazan Beatles vs Rolling Stones. She recently directed the all-archive documentary Hitler, the art of defeat, the first part of the Behind the Scenes collection.
