Biografija redatelja
ANDREW MARCHAND-BODDY is a filmmaker from Victoria, British Columbia. He is motivated from his connections to counterculture, a curiosity for poetic imagery, and his desire to share the lesser known stories of underprivileged people around the world. Andrew is a graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University, where he won Best Documentary, Best Director, the North American Mobility Award, and twice winning the Cinema Humanitarian Award. Andrews' work spans 5 countries, and 4 languages. His most recent film, The Roots Remain, shot in Cambodia, has garnered 4 awards including Best Documentary prize at the Victoria Film Festival, and Best Emerging Director prize at the Montreal International Documentary Film Festival (RIDM). Andrew is also a member of the International Cinematographers Guild local 669.
