SUMMARY

The South Korean tune "March for the Beloved” is a song that reflects the spirit of the May 18 Democratic Movement in Korea. Now, the song transcends nations, symbolizing democracy in Asia. Marking the 40th anniversary of the May 18 Democratic Movement, this song has been revamped. By doing so, we reflect on the spirit that must be passed on to future generations while still conveying sentiments of solidarity in places where this song is needed.

Director Biography

KIM HANSEOK is an award-winning director at many international festivals - URTI, GZ Doc, New York TV & Film Festival, AIBD World TV Awards, ABU Prize, Houston International Film. He is the recipient of the prestigious Banff Rockie Award.
