For many of us, Louis de Funès merges with his characters. They are so familiar to us and for so long that you think you know by heart whoever embodies them. But who was Louis de Funès really? Can we imagine that behind the comedy hides a man of infinite delicacy and modesty?

Director Biography

LUCIE CARIÈS directs political, historical and cultural documentaries: “Mitterrand - Rocard, la haine et le contempt” (2014); “Presidents and Money” (2015).  She also films theatrical creation with "La vie de la troupe" (1999), "La place du chœur" (2008), "TgStan, Impromptu" (2009). She portrays actors such as Lino Ventura in "Ventura, une histoire d'homme" (2017) and Louis de Funès, "La Folle Aventure de Louis de Funès" (2020).
