Golda

Shortly before  death, Golda Meir was interviewed for Israeli television. Upon completion of filming, the cameras remained on and recorded an intimate conversation with the first and only woman to ever rule Israel. As she lit one cigarette after another, Golda spoke freely and explained her term as prime minister. "GOLDA" is a film about Meira's dramatic political career - from her surprising rise to power and cult international stature as the "queen of the Jewish people" and her  tragic and lonely death.
