SUMMARY

Sixteen young actors have been selected to participate in a Broadway musical that established American artists are putting on in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many of them are dreaming about a career outside this region and all of them begin rehearsals with great enthusiasm and expectations. However, as the premiere approaches, their mood begins to change as they become aware that they will soon return their „regular“ life.

Director Biography

Jasmina Beširević was born in Zagreb (Yugoslavia) in the 70s, but spent the first half of her life travelling across the word, mostly through the States and Germany (Berlin). Jasmina holds a BS degree in Ecology from the University of Pittsburgh and is an MA in Multidisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York. She's currently studying Documentary filmmaking at the University of Zagreb - Academy of dramatic art. Before taking up film, Jasmina was sometimes a magician's assistant, she spent time studying the rainforest in Peru and was a teacher at the American International School of Zagreb. She finished Restart's School of Documentary Film, as well as workshops in Blank and Palunko in Zagreb.
