MASTERCLASSES & PRESENTATIONS

MAKING OF TV SERIES THE USKOKS

The feature-documentary series The Age of the Uskoks is a capital work of the Croatian Radio-Television of exceptional cultural value, which draws from oblivion the amazing history of Senj, a city that defied major European powers for almost a century. The story traces the events of the 16th and 17th centuries when the Uskoks, a warrior group of Catholics retreating before the Ottomans, arrived in the town of Senj and began pirate attacks on Venetian ships.

The masterclass by author Božidar Domagoj Burić and special effects master Kristijan Mršić will show us how this visually fascinating series was created.
